Qantas' VH-ZXC

Qantas Airways is ferrying another of their 767-336ERs to VCV for storage. The RB211-powered VH-ZXC (c/n 24339, l/n 298) has stopped over in HNL from SYD as QFA6027.

24339 was originally delivered to British Airways as G-BNWG, named "City of Strasbourg", in July 1990.  Qantas then leased it in June 2000 until it operated it's final revenue service for Qantas in July 2013.

Hello,Robert,Brisbane,Australia,Have just learned that Qantas 767,VH-ZXC ,has left Qantas service,,,,some what sad for me as I worked on old XC,,,both loading and unloading this 767,and push backs from brisbane domestic terminal many many times,,,great aeroplane, great memories, solid, reliable, hard working machine,,,I hope she will live on and fly for many years yet,but the world 767 market is not that good at present,,,,,but I wish her well,,,a job well done XC,,,,cheer,s Robert ,Brisbane.
